About Us
Hi! We’re Rachael and Meghan Allen, two sisters and the brains behind Pointe Apparel. We turned our idea into a small business in August of 2020 after friends and strangers started noticing our homemade, up-cycled, unique, and funky towel ponchos. We’ve been selling to our community ever since and are now excited to expand to Canada-wide. Let us tell you a little bit about each other!
My sister Rach is a full-time-and-then-some student in Kingston, ON. She loves studying medicine and also loves avoiding medicine with things like designing, sewing, and Instagramming Pointe Apparels. She was the one with the original idea of the business but was stoked to build it with my womanpower. She specializes in pastel palettes and the first ever Toddie (sold, not exaggerating, to a celebrity with 13.7 million followers...).
Rach's favourite waterways are:
Georgian Bay
Lake Wānaka
Blackfish Sound
My sister Meg is a super cool cat who lives in Revelstoke, BC. She works full time for a hip tech company and spends her free time on her mountain bike, her skis, or chilling with friends in her 5-panel hat. She is the social media guru of Pointe Apparel and a hardworking seamstress. She’s the queen of the funky colour palettes and the one-and-only bucket-hat maker.
Meg's favourite waterways are:
Georgian Bay
Columbia River
Philippine Sea
